Distracted Driving Prevention

The amount of stuff to distract people while driving is increasing. Phone connectivity, stereos, using navigation apps, and car entertainment screens can provide quick distractions that take your eyes of the road.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, driving habits changed, and miles driven were down. Despite that fact, according to the National Safety Council, in 2020 an estimated 42,060 people died in motor vehicle accidents. In 2021 that number increased to an estimated 46,020 people!

Many new vehicles being sold today are equipped with a lot of advanced safety features like lane keep assist/departure, blind spot monitoring, even self driving. This technology only helps in tandem with an engaged driver.  Texting or fiddling with the vehicles infotainment system are both distracting.
