According to a new report by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, nearly two-thirds of people injured or killed in a crash involved a teen driver. According to the same report by AAA, in 2013 alone, 371,645 people were injured and 2,927 were killed in an accident involving a teen driver. If you have added on a teen driver recently, you may have noticed an increase in your car insurance premium. In Minnesota, it is especially expensive to insure a teenaged driver, with teenage males driving premiums a little bit higher than a teenaged female.
